...Naaaatalie. Think you have any time to knock up any part of his costume in the next six weeks or so?
It's completely okay if you don't have time or you just don't want to, but if you do, I promise to pay you this time.
(And you must tell me what I owe you for the Gavroche waistcoat.)

I'm going to say yes. However I won't have my sewing machine until I return to Bournemouth on the 9th October. I can make up a toile one and really badly hand sew it together to make sure it fits then when I go back all I have to do is cut and sew it together.
Dont worry about the Gavroche waistcoat I really can't remember how much it was and I'm really crap at keeping receipts. Photos are good enough for me :D
You are such a star. As long as it's ready for the weekend before Halloween, that's more than good enough.

No problem. I can use the pattern that I made my pirate costume from. I'll email you with the measurements I need and then I can adjust the pattern for you.
I'll also need to know a budget so that I can start looking for fabrics :D
Budget is anything within reason. :D As long as you don't start buying high-quality silk and real gold braid, or something, we're good.
(Bear in mind this costume will end up being tattered and having mud thrown at it, for authenticity. ;) )

*cries at the idea of actually making a pretty officer's coat, and then doing that to it!*
I will try to make none of the damage irreversible?
