I thought about staying at home today, rather than go to my job in Docklands.

And then I thought about avoiding the Tube and walking across the bridge to Bank instead.

And then I thought, "Fuck that, I'm a Londoner. No bastard's going to make me change my routine for fear of what might happen."

One year on and the city's going about life as normal, bar the two-minute silences. This is what we call not letting them win.
