God, I haven't even seen the episode yet, won't for months or years, and I'm already in mourning. For a fictional character, how sad is that? But I loved her, all the way along. Cordelia...

Thanks largely to musesfool, who wrote a beautiful elegy-fic set after the episode, that made me cry, I have my favourite quote from John Webster going round and round in my head.

Cover her face; mine eyes dazzle. She died young.

*mourns unashamedly*

A request - can someone who's seen the ep tell me how she dies? I've been thoroughly spoiled already, and I'd like to know...

She expires naturally from her coma, never awakening.

She was in a coma? I should have watched that eposide. I don't watch the show regularly, but I would have liked to see her end.

I haven't seen the episde yet either, and probably won't see it until May or something, but I can't be bothered staying spoiler-free for Angel. It's more fun to read the recaps first anyway.

Back to the point ... I feel your pain. Up until season three of Angel, Cordelia was one of my favourite characters, and while I was pretty much certain that they were going to kill her off, I still had this little sliver of hope for her life that I was holding onto. And now it's gone.

I can't help but feel it was a crappy way for her to go, and despite the fact that I haven't liked her much in the last two seasons (making her evil last season really didn't help) I am going to miss her.
