I just started watching the extras with the FotR special edition. It took me four hours just to get through the cast commentary - which leads me to suspect the actual film is, in fact, four hours long.

Yay! That'll have to wait for another day, now, but I'm so looking forward to watching it!

The cast commentary is the funniest thing in the world, BTW, especially whenever the hobbits are talking. And Orlando Bloom's real voice is very nearly as nice as his Legolas-voice. I hadn't heard him talk much before.
