OK. I have what may be the beginnings of an original novel lodged in my head, about two young Elizabethan actors. I have a plot that is potentially horribly derivative and unoriginal (or that might just be my inner Paranoia showing herself again), and if the characters behave, I may turn it into slash. |
The only urgent thing I have yet to do is give them final names. Because they seem to have decided their names are Orlando and Elijah, and I can't publish it with them still called that, for obvious reasons...

It takes me a week sometimes, but it's worth it.
Well....Most popular Elizabethan names would probably be Biblical...So it might be an idea to keep Elijah....And think up a disciple for Orlando?...Or maybe trawl for a Biblical story (or even a Shakespeare play) with a character that ties in well with his
I daresay you could still keep Elijah. I mean, he would have a different last name and everything neh? Orlando would be the problem... What you could do is find a baby name site (like http://www.babynames.com
) and search based on where he comes from. I think babynames offers English, Scottish, and Welsh. Maybe Irish as well, but I'm not so sure about that.
