What's the best program to use for downloading music, in your opinion? In terms of how easy it is to use, and lack of spyware?

Kazaa has always been good for me...

iMESH sucks, though. Never use that.

Morpheus sucks from lack of users, avoid that. Kazaa is one of the most popular- and it's fast, has loads of users, and consequently there's more variety available- but it's being targeted by the anti-piracy crew.

Which version of Kazaa do you use? Because I heard that 2.5.1 is full of spyware, and 2.0.2 only came in French, German or Spanish...

You should use KaZaA Lite. That's the version without all the spyware. It's different than regular KaZaA.

I also use Kazaa Lite - works just as well, doesn't hog system resources and has no spyware.

I just can't find very much music out there - of course, I have zero interest in whatever the flavor of the week is, so maybe that's my problem.

They've got a point though, using Kazaa could open you up to being sued by the RIAA. I don't know if they're monitoring other networks or not.

Does that apply to Kazaa Lite? If so, how do I do it?

Really? I have Kazaalite 2.02 in English, and it works okay.
