I bumped into Richard in Pevensey, and finally got to meet the famous Evelyn (he's been doodling her name on his folders for the last three years, much to the curiosity of the rest of us, without ever letting us meet her). I swear, if those two keep up the way they're going, they'll be married before graduation. Awwwww. So sweet.
*meebles slightly at the sweetness of it all*
Also, had a Seraph meeting, and had much fun trying to think up possible acronyms so our name would actually mean something, because people keep asking. And Vicci's letting me sell those hairthingies my mum used to make, at our soup sale on Tuesday. Good stuff!
Note to readers at British universities (or even universities elsewhere. Why be exclusive?): Seraph is the student branch of the Soroptimists (an international women's organisation, although Seraph has decided to open to men since we had so much male interest and there seemed no sense turning them away). Vicci is our president, and the daughter of someone from Soroptimist, which is where she got the idea. If any of you would like to start branches at your own universities, or are just interested in learning more, leave a message here with your e-mail and I'll put you in touch with her. We'd be delighted if it were to spread beyond Sussex!
