Have any of you seen Ronin, and actually paid attention, instead of half-watching it like I was last night?

Does Spence die? And if so, why does Sean Bean's character in every film I've ever seen him in always get killed off, usually painfully? (Sharpe doesn't count. They were TV movies.)

I don't think he does, I think he just leaves the group. Don't take my word for that, I have seen it, all the way through, without falling asleep but I really can't remember that much about it. Damn, it's a boring film.

He doesn't die. Robert De Niro makes him realise he's not up for the job so he leaves. He gets paid a little.

Have you seen "The True Bride"? ok its not a film but he's in as the gardener turned prince and he doesn't die in that :D

I actually read a Sharpe/Highlander crossover... somewhere. It was Sharpe/Methos.

I'm of the opinion that Spence knew exactly what he was doing and was in cahoots with DeNiro's character. So he could get money and get out before he died. Or something...
