I've looked for years (been in comics for ages me) and have yet to find one. :/
I know there are patterns online if you look, but all those I found weren't really close enough to the Bamf doll for my taste.
But yes, if sewing person you find, there are patterns online...

I've seen the action figures, but never a Bamf plushie... Heh. I've been telling myself I wouldn't get an action figure, but I might crack for a Kurt one.
But I'd die for a Bamf (SD type Nightcrawler from the four part miniseries where he went to another dimension and was a pirate) plushie. Sooo cute...

Good GOD, do you have copies of that four part series??? I had no idea he was a pirate in another dimension! *is amaaaaazed* Now I'm going to make my BAMF plushie a pirate costume too, wheeeee!! Do you know what the outfit he had in the miniseries looked like?
Started collecting X-Men at number 142. ;)
Have most of the miniseries (Wolvie, Nightcrawler and Kitty Pryde ones off the top of my head) and about 9 crates worth of comics (not all x-men by far, obviously).
I could try and either get some scanned or take pictures for you. Can't promise when though, as am badly overwhelmed timewise. :)
The Bamfs had little Kurt costumes. Heh.
Yeah i know, I saw the bamfs in a scan from someone else, but I think the pirate costume he wore (IF he had one) in the other dimension would be cute on my BAMF doll. Those Bamfs looked like evil smurfs LOL!
T00b over to sad_alice
's journal; she's making herself an adorable Bamf doll and has said that she'd be willing to make them for other people, too.
I've got the pattern if you want it
Just e-mail me and I'll be happy to send it to you. ^_^
I'm going to be making my own BAMF! soon, but not for a while. I'm not going to follow the pattern tho as it's a bit too much for my poor brain.
My way seems easy enough to do, if you'd like to try it:
Basically, I'm going to cut out two body templates on black felt, and two head templates on blue felt. These will all be sewn together.
Then over the hands and feet (stumps, as I reckon it will be cuter in chibi form) I'll sew more felt on for gloves and those feet things.
And lets not forget the red triangle over each side of the body...
Theeen I'll make a tail somehow and stitch that on his arse, but then god knows how I'll be doing the hair. I'll figure it out somehow, I got the best indigo coloured wool for it.
My BAMF! isn't going to have facial features other than eyes. a) I don't want to bother making a sculpted nose and b) think of how the simple approach is uber cute on little plush toys.
Re: I've got the pattern if you want it
Just some advice on the BAMF doll if you haven't made it yet...you might want to consider more than a front and a back piece assemblage for the head. I did that a long time ago when I was first starting out, and it just comes out looking like a pancake head *heee...paaaaancakes....* If you want, I can draw up a better patterny thing for the head for you to use when making your own...it makes the head a lot rounder and more plushie-like...check out the BAMF I made in my lj to see what I mean.
If you have a wig shop near you that sells hair on a track, making a wig won't be that hard for it ;)
