My family does, if uh, you want me to sic my close-in-age cousinfriends on you? But somehow I doubt it.
Yeah, thanks for the offer, but I was thinking of someone I already know. ;)
Poor Kate! No one should be subjected to 24 hours in Detroit!
I have no idea. I was supposed to be connecting in Minneapolis, they said "hey, you're probably going to miss that flight so we'll put you on this one to Detroit instead, you'll be fine", and then my flight to Detroit was delayed and we sat on the tarmac at the other end for 45 minutes so I missed my connection anyway.
And apparently Detroit only does one flight to Gatwick a day. And they wouldn't let me switch to an earlier flight that connected somewhere else or went to Heathrow because they don't let you do that if you have checked bags, or something?
Ugh, yeah. Detroit's airport is definitely something you should have to deal with as briefly as possible.
Hope the rest of your trip goes smoothly at least.
The airport's nice. I like the airport. There's internet, and places where I can get real food.
I just don't want to be here.
You must be in the newish terminal, which is nicer. The older terminals? Nooot so much. But yay for internets and food!
Hope your flight arrives soon.
