call your Dr, honey. are you running a fever? is there any chance you have a kidney stone? they can cause infections and pain as well. you should not be in pain after you take the painkillers. period. that's a sign to seek further help.
I was just figuring paracetamol isn't as effective on me as on other people. My front doesn't hurt now, it's just my back.
that's where the kidneys are, remember? so it's not 'just' your back. kidney infections are a bitch and can cause scarring and damage. not to be scary but if the meds are not working, you should call and talk to someone. the inflammation and such need to be taken care of and you need to get this cleared up.
Well, it's only the painkillers that clearly aren't entirely working. They're not the only thing I'm taking, they're just so I don't hurt while the actual cure works.
And I've only taken three doses of the antibiotic so far, so it's probably too soon for it to be having any real effect.
But thanks for the concern. *hugs*
Completely understand - when I was going through the worst bit of my illness in August I ended up sending people to the local pharmacy to beg for more drugs. They wouldn't let me have any. Wah.
Big *hugs* anyway, and may I suggest curling up under a big duvet with some comfort dvds?
So my parents are buying me s1 of Lost for completing NaNoWriMo. (They made me choose between House, Lost, or Firefly. Gaah. Talk about your tough decisions.)
I'm so doomed, aren't I?
Oooh. Yay Lost!
Ring NHS Direct and talk to them about it - NHS Direct 0845 46 47; that's what they are for.
Did you get any cranberry juice? You need lots of fluid anyway.
Have you seen the sixwordstory Comm? It can take just the right amount of thought.
